Our brain has a very powerful influence on our physical health. Chronic stress has been shown to not only weaken our immune system but also to allow cancers to spread.
Dealing with anxiety, depression, and of course the emotional trauma that comes with receiving a cancer diagnosis is vitally important for the best chance of recovery. Each person is different in the type of support they need. Some need little, and some need a lot. Everyone is different. In our consultations, we will determine what emotional and psychological support is needed, and make recommendations based on this.
These may include working with a trained Cancer Psychologist, learning stress-reducing practices such as Yoga, Meditation and Qi Gong or receiving healing therapies such as Reiki and Kinesiology.
